Prior to assembly, Breedlove’s expert luthiers put each tonewood through the company’s Sound Optimization process to ensure each tonewood resonates to the best of its ability. Once the braces are glued in, the company’s luthiers use soft mallets, microphones, and specialized software to analyze the top and back frequency response. They then voice the braces by hand and constantly re-measure the frequency response to ensure the top and back resonate to pre-determined target frequencies.
